WHY DIAMOND ASPHALT

A road has to carry more than a driveway.

Delivery trucks, trailers, and emergency vehicles all use your road. If it is built like a driveway, it breaks down like one. We build the base heavier, crown the surface, and handle drainage so the road holds up. Our name is on the truck, so we do it the way we would on our own land.

Built for heavier traffic

We size the stone base and asphalt thickness for the trucks and equipment that will actually use the road.

Drainage planned in

Crown, ditches, and culverts keep water off and away from the road. That is what makes a road last.

Honest quotes, no add-ons

The number on the estimate is the number on the invoice. No surprise line items after the machine is running.

One point of contact

For shared roads and HOAs, you get one clear estimate and one person to call from start to finish.

PRIVATE ROAD PAVING COST

What affects the cost of paving a private road.

Every road is different, so we price each one after we see it in person. Here is what moves the number up or down, so the quote makes sense when you get it.

01

Length and width

Most of the cost comes from the size of the road. Wider roads and turnarounds add material.

02

Existing surface

Paving over solid gravel costs less than tearing out failed asphalt or building up from bare dirt.

03

Base and thickness

Roads that carry heavy trucks need a thicker base and more asphalt, which adds material.

04

Drainage work

New culverts, ditches, or regrading to move water off the road add to the job.

FAQ

Private road paving questions, answered.

Straight answers to what landowners and HOAs around Fort Worth ask us about paving private roads. Do not see yours? Ask when you call.

It depends on the length and width of the road, what is on it now, how much base it needs, and any drainage work. We give you a free written estimate after we drive it in person, and the number on the estimate is the number on the invoice.

Thicker than a typical driveway. Most private roads need a deeper stone base and more asphalt, sized to the heaviest vehicles that will use them, including delivery and fire trucks. The exact thickness depends on your soil and traffic, and we spell it out in your quote.

Hot-mix asphalt gives a smoother, longer-lasting road and handles turning traffic better. Chip seal costs less and can make sense on very long rural roads. If both are a fit, we will price both so you can compare.

We give one written estimate for the whole road, which you can split however your road agreement calls for. If it helps, we can break the price out by section.

In most cases, yes. We work in sections and plan the schedule so people can get in and out, and we let everyone know ahead of time when an area will be closed.

Built on a proper base with good drainage and regular sealcoating, an asphalt road typically lasts 15 to 20 years or more.

Yes. We provide clear written estimates for boards, work around residents, and can handle repairs, sealcoating, and repaving on the same road over the years.
